Merriam-Webster defines patience as: the capacity, habit, or fact of being patient
But I really like what Wikipedia says: Patience is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances,
So why is my state of endurance under difficult circumstances?
This is what I was dealing with all day yesterday, last night, today and again tonight.
I know, I know, why do I have ALL three children sleeping in one room?! Yesterday morning I had three great helpers taking all the Christmas decorations down and then we cleared out the girls room.
I remembered to snap some "Before Pictures" but only after having moved Little Bo Peeps bed.
|Do you see Monster moving the rug all by himself? He is such a GREAT helper!|
Yes we are painting, rearranging and building. Little Bo Peep is to big for her toddler bed and I just can't find what I want in a bed so we are turning to Ana White! We are building Ana's Simple Bed with some of our own modifications and a trundle bed. We are also building two Six Cube Bookcases but will be making them look like built-ins.
I have been researching like crazy about painting unfinished furniture, that is where my stress is coming from the most, well that and three giggling children who won't go to sleep.
Ecclesiastes 7:8-9 (New Living Translation)
8 Finishing is better than starting.
Patience is better than pride.
9 Control your temper,
for anger labels you a fool.
