Honestly, who doesn't love reading?! And can anyone pass on free pizza?
I don't have a lot of memories before the age of 10 but I remember vividly the chart hanging on the closet door of my third grade classroom. Pizza Hut Book It started 25 years ago encouraging children to read and rewarding them with free pizza. I am almost certain Book It is the reason for my love of Pizza Hut. B and I had Pizza Hut for our wedding rehearsal dinner!
This fall Little Bo Peep will be joining the Book It program. While I won't be enjoying free pizza we will be celebrating her reading accomplishments as a family at Pizza Hut! If your child, K- 6th grade, loves pizza as a parent you can sign up. Teachers can also sign up for the whole classroom.
Have fun reading and eating pizza! Not so much together, unless you don't mind greasy books, but have fun reading, reading, reading!
