Long Winter Part III

Little Bo Peep started Kindergarten! The girl was more than ready to have some formal education. Three weeks in and still loving every minute. We are stretching Kindergarten out over one and a half years that is if she will let me go that slow! Goldilocks is tagging along for most of our lessons. She wanders away sometimes but she loves finding out what is in her next workbox. I'll go into workboxes in another post but if you are really dying to know this should get you started. Monster is loving being a part of school too. He has some of his own trays for Teeny Tiny Tot School. And is mastering the art of getting-into-my-sisters'-stuff.

One thing we have been doing for months is singing name songs. Little Bo Peep was asking all the time how to spell "this person's" name or "that person." So after hunting high and low I finally found the perfect thing.

Little Bo Peep can spell every ones name now. Goldilocks is doing a great job too, if I could only get her to name colors correctly...

I rewrote the lyrics for our family because I didn't want them to be so generic.

Jenny has also started Kindergarten with Pumpkin. Not really surprising but we ordered all the same curriculum. Two peas in a pod we be! She has a Busy Bee Box similar to my Special Box. I peeked in hers this morning and I'm thinking I may need to refill mine, so I'm off to plan.
